...The 2012 Montana Chapter banquet and fund raiser will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Billings Montana on March 31, 2012.
Our Board of Directors and Officers are the banquet committee along with director Brian Cebull as our Banquet Chairman. Brian will also be the banquet Master of Ceremony. We have contracted well known auctioneer Les Oldhauser. For those of you that know Les you will recall he has had years of experience in conducting SCI auctions both at the chapter and National levels.
We are building a collection of firearms including a Winchester special 12 guage shotgun as our grand door prize and a Ruger 375 for you that hunt the dangerous game.
Several hunts are already confirmed including South Africa, Namibia, Argentina and hunts including British Columbia, Australia and New Zealand or being looked at by our committee. We are expecting several hunts in the lower 48 to come in soon and will be posted as soon as they can be confirmed and approved by the committee.
The silent auction and raffles promise to be the best and biggest ever with packages that will tempt everyone including the ladies.
One exciting area to tempt you will be the exhibit of Montana Silversmiths of Columbus Montana. Ric Ruebusch and his fine group have recently signed a licensing agreement with Safari Club International and will be producing a complete line of SCI items with special emphasis on fine jewelry for the ladies and buckles and accessories for the man.
