...Bill and his wife Virginia hunted coastal black bear west of Smithers, BC. He shot this bear on the last day late in the evening. Beautiful country with very thick woods intersperced with open clear cut logging. We hunted up the Copper River outside Terrace BC. We had passed up several nice bears hoping for a bigger one but as hunting sometimes does to the hunter the very nice bear we ended up taking was a bit smaller then two larger ones we had seen earlier in the week. We hunted with Brian McConnel of Smithers BC. Our guide was Brians father David McConnel, Brian's father, two really tough Kiwis from New Zealand..

Chapter board member Brian Cebull along with his father Rick Cebull travelled to the McKenzie Mountains of NWT Canada. Brian took this great mountain caribou 30 miles from the Yukon border. Yes that is snow Brian, Rick and his trophy are sittng on. Brian reported his dad also took a great bull later in the hunt with this being one of his most memorable hunts have been with his dad for this special hunt. Don't all of us wish we had spent more time hunting with our dads?
